Delegates are asked to vote on all ENS DAO proposals
The ENS DAO uses token-weighted voting.
Each $ENS token is worth a single vote in the DAO.
Tokens must be delegated prior to the commencement of a vote for those tokens to be used in a given vote. Find out more information about delegating $ENS here.
All votes are announced on the ENS DAO governance forum and the ENS DAO Twitter account.
For more information about proposals, visit the Proposals page.
Social and Executable Proposals
Delegates are asked to vote on all Social and Executable proposals submitted to the DAO.
Social Proposals are posted on the ENS DAO Snapshot space and are open for 5 days. Voting is free and does not require gas. Votes can be changed for free at any time before a vote ends. Social proposals can be put forward by any Delegate with at least 10,000 $ENS. Find out more about Social Proposals here.
Executable Proposals are open for 7 days, and can be viewed on Tally or Agora. Voting is not free and requires gas. Votes cannot be changed once they are cast. Executable proposals can be put forward to a vote by any Delegate with at least 100,000 $ENS tokens delegated to their address. Find out more about Executable Proposals here
Steward Elections
Delegates are also asked to vote on Working Group steward elections. Steward elections take place each year in December. Each working group will elect three stewards per Term. Steward elections are administered by the Meta-Goverance Working Group. Information about working group elections will be posted in the governance forum with a call for nominees prior to the commencement of voting.
